Cesar Chavez Celebration

Hundreds of union members and supporters came together in March for the annual parade and celebration of Cesar Chavez Day. This year, those gathered remembered iconic Latino labor leader Al Rojas, who passed away last year. Recognition was also given to farm workers, who are fighting with the state for more fair rules around union voting, and to Sacramento school teachers and classified staff, who are on strike.
